How we hold information and keep it secure

IT Security

We hold your personal information in a combination of hard copy and electronic files hosted by Godaddy.
When you book for a presentation or event or access information about your registration, a secure server is used. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypts the information you send through this website.

No data transmission over the Internet or website can be guaranteed to be secure from intrusion. However, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information in accordance with data protection legislative requirements and industry standards.

If we have given you (or you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain pages or parts of Otrem Engineering website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential and for complying with any other security procedures notified to you. We require that you do not disclose your passwords to anyone else for security and commercial reasons. You or your company may online use this password. From time to time there will be an audit of users on our website pages.

Banking / Credit Card Security

Your banking and credit card details will not be processed or stored on our website. All your banking payments and processing details will be through the National Australia Bank payment systems and PayPal.

Please note that all transactions are carried out in Australian dollars.

Refunds for Delays / Cancellation / Overbooking

We are committed to delivering your scheduled presentations on time, however, sometimes natural disasters, technical problems, operational and other issues can cause delivery times delays and cancellations. Our service to you is always our first priority and while we will try our best to provide our service in accordance with the estimated scheduled presentation time and date, delivery times are not guaranteed.

We are committed to providing you with the highest levels of customer service including by looking after you if things don’t go as planned. We will notify you as soon as it is practical in the event of a delay or cancellation of any presentation session. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a refund (credit) and/or rescheduling of a presentation session.

If a presentation delay or cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the scheduled delivery time, we will re-book you on the next available presentation slot at no additional cost to you. Alternatively, you may be entitled to a refund in terms of a credit.

Refunds for delays, cancellations and overbooking (Fair game policy).

Customers are entitled to a refund in terms of a credit in the following situations:

If we cancel your presentation and we cannot offer you suitable alternative presentation slots.
If we delay your presentation to the extent that you can no longer attend due to time constraint.
If we make a significant change to the scheduled presentation time and we are unable to book you on an alternative presentation that is acceptable to you.
If you overbook for the same presentation (excluding minimum numbers for tailored presentations).
If you make a cancellation outside 72 hours of a scheduled presentation delivery time, we will refund you in terms of credit the sum you paid less 5% for administration fees.
If you make a cancellation between (72 – 24) hours of a scheduled presentation delivery time, we will refund you in terms of credit 75% of the total sum paid.
If you make a cancellation less 24 hours of a scheduled presentation delivery time, we will refund you in terms of credit 50% of the total sum paid.
If you do not make a cancellation or do not attend your scheduled presentation delivery time, we will refund you in terms of credit 25% of the total sum paid.

Please note that ALL refunds will be given as a digital coupon to be used only at Otrem Engineering online shop and will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Any online purchases of digital material on this site will not be refunded.

All material on this web page and all material presented under Otrem Engineering has copyright with commercial value to it. This material may not be used for ANY purpose without the approval of Otrem Engineering.

Coupons – fair play

Coupons that are bought online are subjected to other conditions than those stated above. These additional conditions will be sent with the individual coupon.
Coupons that are bought for a specific event can only be used for that event. These coupons can not be transferred nor will they be refunded if not used at that specific event.

If you wish to claim a refund, please fill the form out on the contact page. If you are entitled to a refund, the refund will be equal to the sum already paid (conditioned on the terms above), if no part of the presentation was attended. If part of the presentation was attended, the refund will be equal to the difference between the sum paid and the sum that would have been payable if booked for that part of the presentation that was attended

We may amend this Privacy Policy as our business requirements or the law changes. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be updated on this website, so please visit periodically to ensure that you have our most current privacy statement.
